Obituary for Carol Hershey

Carol Hershey of Newark, DE, passed away on Wednesday January 3, 2017. Born in Belleville, she was the loving daughter of Virginia (Marlatt) and the late Glenn R. Hershey. Carol lived in Nutley before going to Delaware 30 years ago. Miss Hershey was a social worker with the Salvation Army in Wilmington, DE for many years. She attended the University of Delaware and was a graduate of Bloomfield College. In addition to her mother, Carol leaves her dear sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Carlos Benito; her nieces, Tina, Alyssa & Jessica and her nephew, Carlos.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Sunday January 7 from 2-5 pm.
A Service will also be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm.
The committal Service will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Palmyra, PA on Monday January 8 at 10:30 am.
