Obituary for Charles Gastrinakis
Charles Gastrinakis of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday January 3, 2018. Born in Cyprus, he was the son of the late Christos and Eva Gastrinakis. Mr. Gastrinakis lived in Jersey City before coming to Nutley 10 years. He was a copier technician with O.C.E. in Little Falls before retiring. Charlie enjoyed antiques and was a generous person, who willingly gave of his time and efforts to help others. He also enjoyed doing “do it yourself” building projects and renovations.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Camille Gelso, his sister, Helen Gutowski and his brothers, Steven and George Gastrinakis. He also leaves his dear nieces and nephew, Matthew Maltz, Amy and Amanda Reilly, Julia Gastrinakis, Lauren Gutowski and Marlea Maltz.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Saturday January 13 from 2-6 pm.
A Service will also be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Greyhound Friends of New Jersey, 10 Hunters Dr, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 would be preferred.
