Obituary for Dale I. Cocchiola

Dale I. Cocchiola, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Irma (Allman) Wanner. Mrs. Cocchiola was a substitute teacher with the Township of Nutley Board of Education for many years before retiring. She was a graduate of the Panzer Teachers College at Montclair State and was a lifelong member of the Franklin Reformed Church in Nutley. Dale was predeceased by her beloved husband of more than 58 years, Joseph Cocchiola.
Dale is survived by her loving children, Robin Cocchiola, Glenn J. Cocchiola and his wife, Jackie and her devoted grandchildren, Scott, Jenna and Lauren Bulzacchelli, Elizabeth, Julia and Greg Cocchiola. She also leaves her brother, Walter Wanner.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday June 27 from 5-8 pm.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:30 am on Wednesday Franklin Reformed Church, 45 Hillside Crescent Nutley
The interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Nutley Volunteer Emergency and Rescue Squad.
