Obituary for Dennis C. Caporaso
Dennis C. Caporaso, 61 of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2017. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Michael and Eleanor (D’Alliegro) Caporaso. Mr. Caporaso was a manager with Wallace & Tiernan Inc. in Belleville and was later employed with Versa Valves Corp. in Maywood before retiring. Dennis was a graduate of Bloomfield Tech and was member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Belleville. He was an avid NY Yankees fan and will be remembered by his loving family and many friends for his sense of humor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie (De Capua) Caporaso, his sons, Dennis and wife, Gina and Jonathan Caporaso. He also leaves his brothers, Robert Caporaso and his wife, Yvie, Michael Caporaso and his wife, Debbie and many dear nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday June 12 at 9:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville at 10:30 am. Cremation and committal at Glendale Cemetery will be private. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
