Obituary for Dominic J. Battisti

World War II Veteran
Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Colonia Sweet Shop in Colonia. Previously he was a foreman at Otis Elevator in Harrison. Dominic was an Army Veteran of World War II.
The beloved husband of the late Marie V. Battisti, he is survived by his son, John J. Battisti & his wife, Caroline; his grandchildren, LisaMarie Tesei and John J. Battisti, Jr. and his grandchildren, Christian, Maxton & Myla and was predeceased by a brother, John.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
