Obituary for Edward F. Falk

Edward F. Falk, of Nutley, New Jersey, passed away on
Friday, November 1 at Arbor Glen Rehabilitation Center in Cedar Grove, NJ. Mr. Falk was born in 1923 in Nutley, NJ where he remained a lifelong resident. A 1941 graduate of Nutley High School, he attended High Point College. A veteran of World War II, he served as an aerial gunner and gunnery instructor with the 677 Bomber Squadron of the United States Army Air Force, stationed on Tinian in the South Pacific. He was employed as a mechanical engineer, working for General Electric, Worthington Corporation, CMT, Paramount Machine, and Hewitt-Robins before retiring in 1997. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and spending time at the family summer home in Manasquan, NJ.
Edward was predeceased by Leanore (O’Brien) Falk, his wife of 65 years, his parents Louise (Krug) Falk and Edward F. Falk Sr., and his sister Irene Falk. He is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Janis and Jeffrey Wolfe and Diane and Frank Romaine, his grandson Joshua, step-grandson Christopher, cousin Doris McMullen, sister Ruth Wileman, and nieces Donna, Cheryl and Susan.
Visitation will be held at the S. W. Brown & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6 at 10:00 am.
A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.
