Loving Wife & Mother
Eleanor Fazzi of Henrico, VA, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Zelinda (Buffardi) & Louis D’Angelo, she was raised in Belleville and lived in Nutley for 55 years prior to moving to Virginia 5 years ago. Before her retirement, she was an administrative assistant with the Hyde-Watson Foundation in Chatham.
The beloved wife of the late Pasquale Fazzi, Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Linda Walker & her husband Robert L.; her nephews, Louis Caravetta & his wife Kathy and Richard Caravetta & his wife, Judy; 2 grand-nieces, Rebecca Ferraro & her husband, Michael and Jamie Caravetta; a grand-nephew, Xhavier Caravetta; 2 great-grand-nephews, Anthony and Joseph Ferraro and her goddaughter Elisa De Nicholas & her husband, Peter. Eleanor was also predeceased by her daughter, Virginia Anne Fazzi; her sister, Marie Caravetta and brother-in-law, Louis Caravetta
The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Catholic Charities of America or Habitat for Humanity Services of New Jersey would be appreciated
The family would like to thank the Staff of St. Mary’s Woods Retirement Community, Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and attention.
