Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Filomena “Phyllis” Vangieri, of Ortley Beach, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her home. Born in Nutley, the daughter of the late Angelo & Mary Lucchetti, she lived in Nutley prior to moving to Ortley Beach 30 years ago.
The beloved wife of the late Cosmo “Gus” Vangieri, she is survived by her daughter, Kathy Corsi; her granddaughter, Tina Marie Cicalese & her husband, David; her great-grandson, Santino Cicalese and her brother, Robert Di Giacomo. She was also predeceased by her sister, Angelina Manfria and 2 brothers, Anthony & Fred Lucchetti.
The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
