Obituary for Frances E. Kudrak (Ruane)

Frances E. Kudrak (nee Ruane), passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living, West Orange on June 7, 2018. Born in Pittston, PA, Frances moved to NJ in the early 1950’s and worked at Tung-Sol in Bloomfield NJ where she met her husband Edward Kudrak. They lived together in Belleville for 57 years where they raised their four children. Later in life, she earned credentials as a legal advocate for a domestic violence abused women’s shelter where she worked for over 20 years. She was a parishioner of St Peter’s Church in Belleville and found her greatest joy in family gatherings.
Predeceased by her husband Edward Sr. and three of her cherished siblings, Frances is survived by her four beloved children; Edward, Jr. and wife Linda, David and wife Tyda, Robert and wife Teresa and Mary Frances Kudrak. Mourning the loss of the world's best grandma are grandchildren Christopher, Michael, Victoria, Allison, Lauren, Lucas, and four great grandchildren.
Also missing her are her brothers Joseph and James Ruane and many dear nieces and nephews.
Many thanks go to the excellent staff of Brookdale Senior Living whose superior care made her last few years comfortable and Serenity Hospice Care of NJ.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 11 from 4-8 pm at the S. W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St, Nutley, NJ.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 12 at 10 AM at St Peters Church in Belleville, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice Care, 56 Georgetown Rd. Bordentown, NJ 08505.
