Obituary for Francine Restaino

Retired seamstress, former school board member
Francine (Furfaro) Restaino, formerly of Nutley, passed away on February 6, 2018. Born in Newark, she lived in Nutley most of her life moving to Ashburn, VA 2 months ago.
Mrs. Restaino was a talented seamstress and was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Family Rosary Altar Society and was a former member of the Holy Family School Board. Francine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerard T. Restaino. She is survived by her four children, Gerard “Jerry” Jr. & his wife, Bonnie, Stephen & his wife, Carol, Susan Martone & Elvis Restaino; and four grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Jerry III & Luke. She was also the dear sister of the late Peter Furfaro, Jr.
The Funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley on Saturday February 10 at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
