Obituary for Frank R. Mitchell

Engineer with NJ Transit
Frank R. Mitchell, of Nutley, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born in Jersey City, the son of the late Frank & Frances (Bonaski) Mitchell, he lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Nutley 57 years ago. Before his retirement, Frank was a locomotive engineer with New Jersey Transit out of Hoboken. He was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie (Adamkiewicz) Mitchell, his son, Mark S. Mitchell & his wife, Barbara; two grandchildren, Michelle & Joseph and a sister, Janet Siciliano. He was predeceased by a brother.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 120 Prospect St. in Nutley
The cremation will be private.
There will be no public visitation prior to the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Restoration Fund would be preferred.
