Obituary for Frank L. Pavlisko

Physical Therapist, UMDNJ graduate
Frank L. Pavlisko of Nutley, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late John and Carmella (DeLucia) Pavlisko. Frank lived in Geneseo, NY and Belleville before coming to Nutley 46 years ago. He was a graduate of Central Connecticut University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Mr. Pavlisko worked passionately as a physical therapist with Pro Staff Physical Therapy prior to retiring this past year after 36 years in the field. He was also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers Association. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah (Smith) Pavlisko, his daughters, Abby Pavlisko, Jenna Maffucci and husband, Michael A. Maffucci and his grandchildren, Hope, Vienna and Michael. He was the brother of Marie Ferraro, Richard C. Pavlisko, and the late Jon Pavlisko and brother-in-law of Gail and Glenn Gallion. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday November 6 from 4-8 pm.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Nutley at 11 am on Tuesday November 7. Cremation will be private.
