Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather
Gaspar “Gus” J. Rauco, of Belleville, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Born in Raven Run, PA, the son of the late Congetta & Felice Rauco, he lived in Newark prior to moving to Belleville over 60 years ago. He was a truck driver and retired from Teamsters Local #560 in Union City. Gus was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
The beloved husband of the late Josephine (Manino) Rauco, he is survived by his children, Gary P. & his wife Julianne, Randy H. & his wife Judith, Lisa M. Spillane & her husband Mark and Glenn D. & his wife Ibis; his longtime companion, Mildred Lupinacci; 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelly, Nicole, Anthony, Mark, Cristina, Gary Jr., Randy & Melissa and 2 great-grandchildren, Sadie & Parker. He was also predeceased by his sister, Rose Baldan
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter would be appreciated.
