Obituary for Guerino Squitieri
Retired Carpenter, Army Air Corps veteran
Guerino Squitieri of Belleville, passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017. Born in Belleville, he was the son of the late Victor and Rose (Cantelmo) Squitieri and lived in Middletown before returning to Belleville in 1972. Mr. Squitieri was a carpenter before retiring and was a proud U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the Stuart E. Edgar VFW Post 93 in Nutley and a member of the Belleville Seniors Club. Guerino was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia (Pennelli) Squitieri and his survived by his devoted sons, Victor and his wife, Michelle and Warren and his wife, Geri. He also leaves his brother, Raymond and his sisters, Margaret Squitieri and Lucy Bagoon.
Visiting will be on Wednesday morning March 8 from 8-9 am at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley.
A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
