Helen Foley, 90
Dress Shop Manager
Helen Foley, of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Mary (Urban) and Michael Kolontie, she lived in Newark prior to moving to Belleville in 1955. She retired from Seibel’s Dress Shop in Nutley as the store manager.
The beloved wife of the late Frank Foley, Helen is survived by her daughters, Linda Garippa and her husband, John, Donna Ritacco and her husband, Joe and Barbara Gialanella and her husband, Anthony; 6 grandchildren, John, Barbara, Joe, Jennifer, Stephanie and Kimberly and 3 great-grandchildren, Kenny, Emma and Luke.
The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Mary’s Church Restoration Fund, 17 Monsignor Owens Pl, Nutley, NJ 07110 or Barnabas Hospice, (www.barnabashealth.org\supporthospice) would be appreciated.

Yesterday, our mother went to be with the Lord after living an amazing 90 years! She loved life, her family, and the Yankees and was able to enjoy all three until the very end. Life wasn’t always easy, but God blessed her with a sweet spirit and a refusal to complain. She will be missed, but her impact in our lives is immeasurable.
