Helen M. Manfready, 94
Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Helen M. Manfready passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home. Born in Nutley, the daughter of the late Amelia (Annichiarico) and Luciano Costello, she was a lifelong resident. She retired from Hoffman La Roche in 1989 as a purchasing agent after 23 years of service.
Helen was a graduate of Drake’s Business School in Newark, a member of the Roche Retirees and the Golden Age Club of Nutley.
The beloved wife of the late Charles Manfready, she is survived by her children, Janice De Lorenzo and her husband, Richard and Richard C. Manfready and his wife, Diane; 4 grandchildren, Mark and Robin De Loranzo and Dr. Richard Manfready and Michael Manfready and 3 great-grandchildren, Natalie, Alyssa and Kevin.
Helen was also predeceased by her siblings, Mary Roden, Dorothy Costello, Elizabeth Kuhn, Grace Conti, Michael, Patrick, Daniel and Lawrence.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) would be appreciated.
