Obituary for Helen J. Zito

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Helen J. Zito, of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dover, NJ, the daughter of the late Frances (Stalter) & Michael Snyder, she was raised in Dover and lived in Bloomfield prior to moving to Toms River 18 years ago. She made and marketed her own pasta with a proprietary recipe for the flour that she created with her son called ASC Flour; the makers of Smart Pasta. Helen was also a former Deacon at Montgomery Presbyterian Church in Belleville.
The beloved wife of the late Peter Zito, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee Salinas & her husband, Jesus; two sons, William Terrill & his wife, Susan and Anthony Terrill & his wife Darlene; a sister, Betty Greeley; two brothers, Larry & Raymond Snyder; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Helen was also predeceased by her son, Joseph Terrill and ten sisters & brothers.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16 at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1228 Rout 37 West, #6, Toms River, NJ 08755 would be appreciated.
