Obituary for Ilene M. Ball

Ilene M. Ball, formerly of Nutley, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017.
Born in Kearny, NJ, Ilene was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Holman) Beattie. She was a life-long resident of Nutley until her move to an Alzheimer’s facility. Ilene was a homemaker and loving mother. She enjoyed reading, coffee at her favorite restaurant, Rosebuds, and she volunteered for the Nutley Public Library where she delivered books to shut-ins.
Predeceased by her husband, Herbert Ball and grandson Matthew Follansbee, she is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Paul) Follansbee and Linda (William, Jr.) Cregar, her grandchildren Rebecca Follansbee (Robert Blood), Lindsey Cregar, and William Cregar III, and her great-grandson Silas Blood.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
