Obituary for James J. Palumbo

James J. Palumbo, of Woodland Park, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home. Born in Newark, he lived in Nutley and Bloomfield before moving to Woodland Park 6 years ago. James was a truck driver with Bestway Trucking Services in Fairfield. He was a disabled Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, a Purple Heart recipient and a member of the American Legion Post #1000 of Trenton.
James is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Marie Palumbo; four granddaughters, Isabella, Gemma, Elliana & Niccola and his brother, Ralph J. Palumbo.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The interment will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Autism Speaks NJ, 1060 State Road, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540 would be appreciated.
