Retired bookkeeper, Devoted wife and dear aunt
Janet C. Ventura of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2017. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she lived in Newark before coming to Belleville 52 years ago. Mrs. Ventura was a bookkeeper with Newark Wire Cloth Co. before retiring and was a member of the Belleville Tuesday Seniors Club and the Nutley Friday Club. Janet is survived by her beloved husband, Jack Ventura. She was the dear aunt of Steve DePaul and his wife, Debra and their son, Steven James, Valerie Zajac and her husband, John and Holly and David Zewalk.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Saturday February 18 at 9 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley at 10 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3-7 pm.
