Obituary for Janice Troina Stancel

Former Owner of Troina Trucking Co.
Janice Stancel, of Nutley, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her home. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Stella (Ficetola) & Frank Troina, she lived in Newark prior to moving to Nutley over 60 years ago. She was the former owner of Troina Trucking Co. in Nutley. A graduate of Nutley High School, she attended Art High School in Newark where she studied fashion design.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Frank J. Stancel; her children, Cherisse Lovato & her husband, Alfred & Christopher Stancel, D.V.M. & his fiancée’, Marie DiBenedetto and her brother, Frank Troina.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
