Obituary for John J. Resciniti

John J. Resciniti, Sr., of Nutley, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born and raised in Belleville, he lived in Little Egg Harbor before moving to Nutley 4 years ago. He was co-founder of The Motorcycle Mall in Belleville prior to his retirement. John enlisted in the Merchant Marines in 1942 and transferred to the US Army proudly serving his country until 1956.
The beloved husband of the late Claire (Vespasiano) Resciniti, he is survived by his son, John J. Resciniti, Jr. & his wife, Lisa; three grandchildren, John C. Resciniti & his wife, Dana, Nicole Tedesco & her husband, Frank and Carah Marie Haskoor & her husband, Richard; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa Haskoor, Roxanne Lucia & John Joseph Resciniti, III; his nephew, Joseph Furore He is also survived by another son and daughter. He was predeceased by his sister, Laure Furore and his brother Frank Resciniti.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church at 10:45 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated
