Obituary for Joseph M. Brosius

Lithographer
Joseph M. Brosius, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Angelina (Palmerio) & David Brosius, he was a lifelong resident of Belleville. Joseph retired from Sweeney Lithographs Co. in Belleville as a lithographer. He played Semi-pro Basketball with the Philadelphia SPHAs and former Web Leader to Pack 305 in Belleville.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose (Raniero) Brosius; two sons, Joseph G. & Mario J. Brosius and three grandchildren, Alexis, Joseph R. & Mario J. Brosius.
The funeral will be Saturday from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley at 9 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church in Newark at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
