Obituary for Joseph DeLizio

Retired Carpenter
Joseph DeLizio, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday, February 08, 2017. He retired as a carpenter from the Carpenter’s Union Local #253 in Hackensack. He was also a Navy Veteran. After his retirement, he was a Nutley School Guard for 10 years.
The beloved husband of the late Lois A. (Hepp) DeLizio, he is survived by his children, Joseph De Lizio & his wife, Brenda, David De Lizio & his wife, Diana, Barbara Russo & her husband, Joseph, Robert De Lizio; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Anna Frino and a brother, Carmen DeLizio. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard & Madeline (Pezzano) DeLizio; a sister, Mary Cappachione and two brothers, Gerard & George DeLizio.
The funeral will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church at 9:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
