Joseph James Ferraro, 89
Proud Navy Veteran
Joseph James Ferraro, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Born in Summit, NJ, the son of the late Grace (Disco) and Mario Ferraro, He lived in Newark prior to moving to Bloomfield 50 years ago.
Joseph retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a Navy Veteran.
The beloved husband of the late Jessie (Di Cicco) Ferraro, he is survived by his son, Robert M. Ferraro and his brother, Mario Ferraro. Joseph was also predeceased by his sisters, Tina Venezia and Caroline Montuori and his brothers, Rocco and Thomas.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield at 11 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
