Obituary for Joseph P. Masucci

Automobile Mechanic
Joseph P. Masucci, of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at his home. Born in Newark, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph & Josephine Masucci. He lived in Newark prior to moving to Nutley 50 years ago. He was an automobile mechanic with Whitman Chevrolet in Newark for many years. Later, he worked for Hoffman La Roche in Nutley as a material handler. He was an Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Carmela (Saragusa) Masucci; two daughters, Joanne and Maria Masucci and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Thomas Lomberto. Joseph was also predeceased by his loving step-father, Frank Santoro and two brothers, Ralph and Sam.
The funeral will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m
