Obituary for Joy A. Bentzel

Devoted wife and mother, loving grandmother
Joy A. Bentzel, of Nutley, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Paula (Fata) Scandiffio. Mrs. Bentzel moved to Nutley in 1970 and was school crossing guard before retiring.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Bentzel , her children, Anthony Bentzel, Jayne Hurst and Lori Andreoni and her loving grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Jaden, Jaxon, Chance, Kate, Cole, Leah and Carly. Joy was also the dear sister of Valory Clarke and the late Anthony Scandiffio.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Church 340 Franklin Tunrpike, Ho-Ho-Kus on Thursday January 25 at 10 am
The interment will follow at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Wednesday January 24 from 4-7 pm.
