Retired Belleville High School secretary
Judith Apple, a lifelong resident of Belleville passed away on Monday February 27, 2017. Mrs. Apple was a secretary at Belleville High School before retiring and was past secretary of the Essex County Democratic Committee and a former Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family Church in Nutley. Judith was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Apple, Jr. and is survived by her devoted children, James D. III, Marian R., Jeffrey M., Scott M. and his wife Angela, Jason A. and his wife, Angela and her 11 loving grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Tartaglia) Buono and dear sister of Rose Quarto and the late Samuel Buono, Elaine Magnatta and Mary Gomulinsky.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday at 8:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
