Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Julia Zito, of West Windsor, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Francesco & Amalia (Lancellotti) LaMorte, she was raised in Newark and lived in Nutley for 59 years prior to moving to East Windsor 5 years ago. Before her retirement, she was employed by Atlantic Chemical in Nutley. Mrs Zito was an avid bowler. .
The beloved wife of 52 years of the late Ernest Zito, she is survived by her children, Barbara Ann Tomie & her husband Art, Michael Zito & his wife Rosanne and Philip Zito & his wife Darlene; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Elena, Jenna, Alexander, Eric, Veronica, Olivia & Vincent and 3 great-grandchildren, Leona, Julia & Gianluca. Julia was predeceased by her 12 siblings.
The funeral will be Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 10:45 a.m.
The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
