Kazimierz Luszcz aka Charlie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 8/11/2020 at the young age of 88. He is survived by his 2 children and 3 grandchildren: daughter Jean Sime and her husband Eric, his son Charles Luszcz and his wife Linda and their 2 children Eric and Jessica. Kazimierz also leaves behind his son in law Timothy Meitzler and his grandson Steven. He also is survived by his one and only sister Ganofeva Rodrigues of Santa Maria, California as well as many nieces and nephews in California.

Born in Poland in 1932, our dad led a storybook life from surviving the concentration camps at age 7, to migrating to the USA on the Queen Mary, to serving in the Army and our country in the Korean War.

Kazimierz was a wonderful and loving father, husband, son, brother and friend. He looked forward to going daily to his Branch Brook Cherry Blossom senior clubs where he was named "Man of the Year". Charlie enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Wind Creek, cruising, traveling, going down the shore, his church and God and taking fun adventures with his family. He enjoyed a good buffet especially where they served crab legs and lamb chops.
He loved feeding natures birds and quite often had woodpeckers and owls visit too.

Kazimierz will be missed by all who knew him. He would light up the room and really knew how to enjoy life.
Kazimierz is now in heaven with his daughter Vivian who he lost unexpectedly in April to Covid-19 as well as his wife Mary, his mom and dad Maria and Marcin and his brother in law Albert.

We will truly miss our dad! He was a kind, gentle, simple man who loved his family very much. May you rest in peace dad. You were not only our father, you were our hero.❤

The funeral service will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Saturday, August 15th at 11am.

The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9-11am.
