Obituary for Leonard Codomo

Loving Husband & Father
Leonard Codomo, of Bloomfield, passed away, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Santa (Stagliano) & John Codomo, he lived in Belleville prior to moving to Bloomfield after he was married. Leonard retired as a sales manager with Universal Foods, Inc., formerly National; Yeast, in Belleville. He was also a Navy Veteran of World War II and proud member of the Seabees.
The beloved husband of the late Sally (Gravante) Codomo, he is survived by his loving daughter, Santina “Sandy” Codomo and his brothers, Pat & John Codomo.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
