Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother
Pasqualina “Lina” Raimato, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her home. Born in Calabritto, Avellino, Italy, the daughter of the late Maria Luigia (Della Ferra) and Ennio Marcantuono, she emigrated from Italy at the age of 13. She lived in Newark prior to moving to Bloomfield over 30 years ago.
A longtime communicant of Holy Family Church in Nutley, Lina served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Maria S.S. Della Neve.
The beloved wife of the late Giusto, she is survived by her son, Anthony Raimato, his Fiancée, Breda and her daughter, Brida; her daughter, Mary Lou Schiavone and her husband, Frank; and 4 grandchildren, Nicole, Justina, Daniella and Francesca. She is also survived by a sister, Angela Raimato and a brother, Pasquale Marcantuono.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Holy Family Church Restoration Fund, 28 Brookline Ave. Nutley, NJ 07110 would be preferred.
