Devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother, Loving sister, aunt & friend
Loretta Considine of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017. Born and raised in Jersey City, she was the daughter of the late Benhardt and Vienna (Pohjola) Bakka. Mrs. Considine lived in Rutherford and Belleville before coming to Nutley 7 years ago and was an administrative assistant at Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley before retiring. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a loving sister, aunt & friend. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and Wildwood and cherished time spent with her family. Loretta’s family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Waterview Care Center for their kindness and compassion.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Considine, her daughter, Lori Nyegaard and her granddaughter, Patricia Nyegaard, she is survived by her son, John M. Considine and wife, Maria, her daughter, Kerri Garner and husband, Gerard, 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was the dear sister of the late Frank and Ben Bakka.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Tuesday September 19 at 9:15 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 91 Home Ave. Rutherford at 10:30 am followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 pm.
