Obituary for Lorraine F. Mullany

Lorraine F. Mullany, of Belleville, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. Born in Belleville she was a lifelong resident. Lorraine was the daughter of the late Sarah (Hawkins) & Charles Hood. She retired from First Financial Title Insurance Agency in Bloomfield. And was previously employed at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville and Mace Brothers, Kearny.
The beloved wife of the late Robert Mullany, she is survived by her children, Michael Mullany, Kathleen Baylock & her husband, William “Skip”, Robert Mullany and Joseph Mullany & his wife, Tonia; and 6 grandchildren, Bobby, Mikey, Daniel, Matthew, Marc & Joey. Lorraine was aslo predeceased by a sister, Anamae O’Connell and 2 brothers, Joseph Lamin & Charles Hood.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church in Belleville at 10 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 3-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter would be appreciated.
