Obituary for Lucy Biancola
Lucy (Colitti) Biancola, of Belleville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015. Born and raised in Newark, she has lived in Belleville since 1962. Before her retirement, Lucy worked with her late husband at Biancola Jewelers in Nutley.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Biancola, she is survived by her son, Frank A. Biancola & his wife, Deborah; her daughter, Donna Gonia & her husband, Jeffrey; two grandchildren, Michelle & Joseph and her brothers, Paul & Michael Colitti & his wife, Gloria. She was predeceased by a brother, Augustine Colitti.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 would be appreciated.
