Obituary for Margaret M. Sheridan

Margaret M. Sheridan, 80 of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday December 25, 2016. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she was often the center or the hostess for celebrations with her large family and many friends. Born in Orange, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Elizabeth (Hanley) Conway. She lived in Belleville before coming to Bloomfield 44 years ago. She was a life member of ARC and was a longtime member of the Women of Irish Heritage. She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Sheridan and her son Thomas. Margaret also leaves her brother-in-law, Robert Sheridan and his wife Mildred and their family, her brother-in-law James Sheridan and his wife, Marlene and their family and also the family of her late sister-in-law and husband, Elizabeth and John Grouss and many dear cousins.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday December 29 at 10 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley at 11 am followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ARC of Essex County (www.arcessex.org).
