Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
Maria (Cofone) Cofone, of Nutley, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Italy, the daughter of the late Vincenzo & Christina (Cofone) Cofone, she lived in Italy prior to moving to Nutley 54 years ago.
The beloved wife of the late Annunziato Cofone, she is survived by her loving children, Angel Gil, Rita Montes & Lisa Cofone; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great-grandchildren. Maria was also predeceased by 4 children, Phyllis Gabriele, Pepe Cofone, Rose Everswick & Domenick Cofone.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
