Mary Ellen Jones
Mary Ellen Jones, of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York, the daughter of the late William & Kathleen (Fox) Banfield, she lived on Long Island prior to moving to Nutley 49 years ago.
Mary worked as a key punch operator for ADP in Clifton for 18 years. After leaving ADP, she worked as a bank teller with several banks in the area.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Steven G. Jones; their children, Amy Visotsky & her husband, Chris and Scott Jones & his family; a brother William Banfield and four treasured grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Monsignor Owens Place, Nutley, N.J. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851 would be preferred.
