Obituary for Mary Piscatowski

Mary (Vertorano) Piscatowski, of Clifton, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at West Caldwell Care Center. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Clifton 32 years ago. She retired as a crossing guard from the City of Lyndhurst. Previously, she worked for Mulberry Metal in Union.
The beloved wife of the late Charles Piscatowski, she is survived by her daughter, Carol Schultz, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her son, Carl Piscatowski and 15 sisters & brothers.
The funeral service will Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
