Michael was the love of my life. We met in 8th grade homeroom. He asked me to help him draw a diagram for Science class and the next day brought me a roll of Stik-o-Pep Life Savers. That was the first gift any guy had given me and I was in love. We were friends throughout high school then went to the senior prom together. By Christmas of that year we were engaged. After serving two years in the US Army, one of which was in Vietnam, we were married six weeks after his discharge. Together we shared over 49 years of marriage and 3 beautiful daughters. We were blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren and 3 wonderful sons-in-law. Michael was truly a family man, loving and always giving. To know him was to love him. In time my broken heart will heal but the scar it leaves behind will be a constant reminder of the loss of my Michael. Till death did we part.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike and I lived on the same street, growing up and he was one of the funniest friends I ever had. He always made me laugh and he was a good friend. I will pray for him and for your family.
