Obituary for Minnie Capezzano

Retired seamstress, long-time resident of Nutley
Mary “Minnie” Capezzano of Nutley, passed away on Friday January 20, 2017 at her home. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Marie (Lardieri) De Franza. Mrs. Capezzano was a seamstress with Carolyn Fashions in Belleville before retiring. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Minnie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carmen “Cappy” Capezzano, her son-in-law, Herbert Erickson and her grandson, Todd Erickson. She is survived by daughters Barbara Gallagher and husband, Joseph and Mary Ann Erickson. She also leaves her grandchildren, Robert and Linda Gallagher and Taryn Erickson and her great grandson, Nicholas Erickson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church in Nutley on Wednesday January 25 at 10:30 am
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. There will be no visitation prior to the Mass.
