Obituary for Nancy Cancelliere (Cafone)
Nancy Cancelliere, 86, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Born in Belleville, the daughter of Demetrio and Angelina (Primavera) Cafone, she was a lifelong resident.
Nancy was the co-owner of The Chocolate Factory in Belleville, an avid bowler and former club treasurer and she concurrently attended Holy Family Church and Abundant Life Church of Springfield.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph Cancelliere, she is survived by her sons, Rev. Joseph Cancelliere and his wife, Pamela and Michael Cancelliere and his wife, Patricia; her grandchildren, Jaclyn and her husband, Chris, Michael and his fiancée, Kelly, Daniel and his wife Crystal and Joelle; her great-grandchildren, Trevor, Colton, Cooper and Scarlett; a sister, Dolores Vitiello; a brother Rocco Cafone,and her loving in-laws, many nieces, nephews and a host of longtime friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. She was also predeceased by 2 sisters, Jenny Servidio and Tessie Daw and 2 brothers, Carmine and Angelo Cafone.
The funeral will be Monday, November 12, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church at 10:30 a.m.
The interment will take place at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
There will be a religious service on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. lead by Rev. Joseph Cancelliere.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Samaritan Outreach Services (SOS), 35 Fadem Road, Springfield, NJ 07081 would be preferred.
