Obituary for Patricia E. Jago

Devoted mother & grandmother, retired executive assistant
Patricia E. Jago, of Nutley, passed away peacefully in hospice care at Brookdale Paramus Senior Living on Wednesday February 21, 2018. Born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Verle and Ethel (Cookson) Beach, she lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Nutley 42 years ago. Mrs. Jago was the assistant to the President of St. Peter’s University in Jersey City before retiring. She was a former Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and was also an avid bowler.
The beloved wife of the late, Robert F. Jago, she is survived by her son, Thomas R. Jago and his wife, Marie; her daughter, Susan M. Guglielmo and her husband, Tom and her loving grandchildren, Katie Guglielmo and her fiancé, Joseph Flanagan, Michael Guglielmo and Matt, Ally and Marisa Jago. She was also predeceased by her dear brothers, Herbert and Thomas Beach and her sister, Gertrude Kuneman.
The funeral will be from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday February 26 at 9 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nutley at 10 am followed by entombment and Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 pm.
Patricia’s family extends special thanks to the staff of the Clare Bridge Unit for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Life Source Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
