Obituary for Rachel O. Kamand

Rachel O. (Desiderio) Kamand, 78 of Manchester, passed away on Thursday October 1, 2015. Born in Orange, she lived in West Orange before going to Manchester 11 years ago. Mrs. Kamand was a member of the Columbiettes and the Red Hat Ladies, both of Manchester and was a former parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in West Orange. Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Olga (Ferrara) Desiderio, she is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony F. Kamand, her children, Anthony F., Jr., Barbara, Linda and Robert Kamand and her grandchildren, Brian, Dillon, Maggie and Michael. She also leaves her brothers, Anthony and Frank Desiderio.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, Nutley on Saturday October 10 from 1 pm with a Memorial Service held at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101
