Obituary for Richard W. Weinbel

Proud Navy Veteran
Richard W. Weinbel, of Belleville, passed away on Monday, April 02, 2018. Born in Newark, the son of the late Rose (Binder) & George Weinbel, he lived in Newark prior to moving to Belleville 46 years ago. He retired from Roadway Express in Kearny as a dock worker. Richard proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Feith) Weinbel; 2 children, Ricard & his wife Arleen and Christine Kokos & her husband Frank; 4 grandchildren, Caitlin, Carli, Nicole & Frankie and his sister, Ruth. He was also the Uncle of Tony & Diane Branco and their children, Anthony, Michael & Danielle.
The funeral will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
