Obituary for Rodolfo G. Acuna

Retired chemical engineer
Rodolfo G. Acuna of Belleville, passed away on Thursday August 24, 2017 at his home. Born and raised in the Philippines, he came to Belleville 29 years ago. Mr. Acuna was a supervisor with New Jersey Semi-Conductor Inc. in Springfield before retiring. He earned his degree in chemical engineering from Adamson University in the Philippines and was a member of the Belleville Knights of Columbus. Rodolfo also enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Custodio) Acuna, his children, Michael Joseph Acuna and his wife, Melissa Stone, Marie Acuna David and her husband, Jason and Michael Vincent and his wife, Kerri. He also leaves his grandchildren, Addison, Makayla, Jayden, Austin and Tristan and his sisters, Carmelita, Loida, Grace, Belen, Elvira and Agnes.
Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St. Nutley on Monday August 28 from 4-8 pm and at St. Peter’s Church 155 William St. in Belleville on Tuesday August 29 from 9-10 am.
The Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 10 am followed by interment at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery.
