Obituary for Rose Ann Hedlund

Rose Ann Hedlund, of Lakewood, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her home. Born in Nutley, the daughter of the late Donato & Marie (Christopher) Zoppi, she lived in Nutley, Bayonne and Brick prior to moving to Lakewood. Before her retirement, Rose was an L.P.N. with Bayonne Hospital.
The mother of the late Linda Mateirowski, she is survived by her children, Alison De Lello, Alan Hedlund, Marie Ruiz and Marian Hedlund; 8 grandchildren, Angela Poller, Diana Bococinski, Korin Meyer, Lou Ruiz Jr., Alan Hedlund Jr., Valerie Hedlund, James Hedlund and Angel Cassidy; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joann Cozza and her brother, Donato Zoppi, Jr.
The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 11 a.m.
The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
