Obituary for Ryan M. Lucas
Ryan M. Lucas, 35
Proud Marine Veteran and Nutley Firefighter
Ryan M. Lucas, a lifelong resident of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was a firefighter with the Township of Nutley Fire Department and a Marine Corps Veteran of the Iraq War.
He was a member of VFW Stuart E. Edgar Post #493 in Nutley and the Nutley FMBA Local #44.
Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Susan (Ryan) and Benjamin F. Lucas; his brother, Benjamin F. Lucas, Jr.; his nephew, Vincent Benjamin Lucas and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the following charities;
