Beloved mother & wife

Sharon Anne Connolly, 66 of Belleville passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019 at her home. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Goglia) Carrara. Mrs. Connolly lived in Bloomfield before coming to Belleville 35 years ago and was substitute teacher at Belleville High School before retiring. She also taught at St. Anthony’s School in Belleville, was a PC Coordinator with Harts Mountain in Secaucus and was a teaching assistant with North Essex Community Health Network.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Jack Connolly, her daughter, Ryane Rodriguez and her husband, Frankie, her son, John William Connolly and her step-daughter, Erin Connolly. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Lucas John Rodriguez, Matthew Ryan Rodriguez and her brothers, Peter and Anthony Carrara. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary T. Amorosi.

The funeral will be Saturday December 14 at 9 am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church Belleville at 10 am

The cremation will be private.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 pm.
