Obituary for Susan Leone
Retired Baker
Susan Leone, of Nutley, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Born in Lyndhurst, the daughter of the late, Angelo & Susan (Uriciulo) Mastandrea, she lived in Nutley and Lanoka Harbor prior to returning to Nutley 18 years ago. She retired from the Captain’s Inn in Forked River as their baker.
The beloved wife of the late Ralph Leone, Susan is survived by her children, Judy Lavecchia & her husband Anthony and Dennis Leone & his wife, Susan; 3 grandchildren, Felicia Cerbo, Mark & Paul Lavecchia; 6 great grandchildren and her sister, Josephine Mastandrea. She was also predeceased by 2 sisters & 2 brothers.
The funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m.
Please omit flowers; memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be preferred.
